Discover Montessori Academy's Upper Elementary Program for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders continues the focus on the whole child. It is a multi-aged classroom that provides each child individualized opportunities for hands on learning and positive social interaction. The multi-age classroom structure promotes leadership, collaboration, and continuity learning, allowing each student to progress at their own pace.

 

Emphasis at this age is placed on developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and intrinsic motivation.
